What the reality looks like

Reading the actual Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (last updated October 2025), there are a few things the marketing pages don’t emphasize:

  • Conversations are stored on Candy AI’s servers, not end-to-end encrypted. The platform can read your messages. They claim not to, but the technical capacity is there.
  • Generated images are stored and may be used for model improvement unless you opt out in settings (the opt-out is buried two menus deep).

A common worry: if I generate explicit content, does it get flagged? Candy AI runs automated moderation on all generated images.
